So I had a lovely day yesterday cycling out to meet the Danby’s and confirming the first visit, which will be on August 5th. I did however get slightly lost on the way – ending up on the scenic route, and boy was it scenic! The landscape is stunning, I can easily see why many painters have been inspired it. The camera can’t really do it justice, but I thought I would share with you all my attempts to capture the feeling of being here. I am really looking forward, through the course of this project, to digging a little deeper, to meeting and knowing some of the people who work and live in the ‘bread basket’ of England.
