Lovely Lincolnshire

So I had a lovely day yesterday cycling out to meet the Danby’s and confirming the first visit, which will be on August 5th. I did however get slightly lost on the way – ending up on the scenic route, and boy was it scenic! The landscape is stunning, I can easily see why many painters have been inspired it. The camera can’t really do it justice, but I thought I would share with you all my attempts to capture the feeling of being here. I am really looking forward, through the course of this project, to digging a little deeper, to meeting and knowing some of the people who work and live in the ‘bread basket’ of England.

This is the site of an artistic experiment, we are all aware of the great lighter exchange - I want to see how far it goes. Does five degrees of separation apply to lighters as well? I also wanted to utilize an already existing exchange to connect people with different ideas. All the lighters are numbered and I hope to track their progress. Please write your location as well as your thought if you have been found by a lighter! If you have come across this blog your comments are also welcome. Welcome to The Great Lighter Exchange!
